**The Position**:
Are you a dynamic sales leader with a passion for the trucking and transportation industry? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of driving companies business development? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing team as our Business Development Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, identifying opportunities for growth in the local market.
- Indigenous Relations: Pursue and develop relationships with Indigenous communities within Alberta and Western Canada.
- Performance Management: Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide regular feedback to the team, implementing corrective actions as required.
- Communication with the management team to be prepared for future opportunities with equipment and personnel.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently, resolving any escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Client Relations: Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development.
- Experience creating and maintaining connections with Indigenous communities.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the industry, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
