We are a young and vibrant Toronto based Design & Virtual Build firm that specializes in residential projects from early design to construction.

We believe we can, and need to, improve and innovate the construction industry. We do, by using BIM as our tool to take projects to the next level. Our approach is hands-on and tech-driven. With our vast BIM experience in the industry and extensive knowledge of a broad pallet of BIM tools, we shorten delivery times and increase project quality.

Our unique services reach from BIM based Early Design to Construction Documents and Quantity Takeoff with a full coordination between project disciplines, creating a tailored set of drawings and project information. The models we create are used to extract quantities, coordinate with suppliers and for sales and marketing purposes.

You will be a working with a Toronto based team of BIM professionals. Your job involves Modeling of Design, HVAC, Plumbing and wood frame models, as well as creating and updating templates. We are looking for someone with experience in the creation of permit and construction drawings.

Your main focus will be residential buildings and your day to day job will be to create BIM models and outputs for client’s projects.

You are an engaging person who can connect with people, have excellent communication skills and are adaptable to change. You are well organized, have an eye for detail, a feel for architectural design and a high quality standard for delivering work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Create high quality Revit models
- Prepare construction documents
- Prepare tailored information from de BIM model
- Extract quantities for scheduling and estimation
- Extract data for design analysis
- Main focus is Residential projects
- Create and maintain project standards and templates
- Continuously improve the workflow and the efficiency
- Collaborate with your team mates
- Document clashes and changes
- Communicate with BIMstudio team, clients and consultants

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of relevant working experience
- Experience with reading and creating Permit Documents
- Competency in modeling in Revit and working with Navisworks
- Good communication skills, verbal and writing
- Organized and precise
- High standard for delivering work
- Independent and team player
- Architectural Design Education and background
- Work Experience with Revit is a must
- Experience with HVAC and or Wood Framing is a plus
- Knowledge in coding with Dynamo or similar is a plus
- Knowledge in coding HTML and Java script is a plus
- Knowledge in Generative Design is a plus

**Location**:
We believe in a **Hybrid** work solution. You will be working from our office in Downtown Toronto and from home if the work/project permits.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
