**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**

Maxxit is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a QC Technician at our metal fabrication shop. As a QC Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all metal components produced in our shop meet the highest standards of quality by effectively removing burrs and sharp edges.** This is a 4 to 5 month full time temporary assignment.**

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Perform quality control inspections on metal components to identify burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections.
- Utilize deburring tools such as sanders, grinders, and hand tools to remove burrs and smooth rough edges from metal parts.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate efficient deburring operations.
- Document and report any quality issues or deviations from standards to the appropriate personnel.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working in a metal fabrication environment preferred.
- Proficiency in using deburring tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and operate machinery safely.
