- **WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**_
Reporting to the Studio Director, the Creative Studio Coordinator is responsible for overseeing creative project workflows and resourcing. This role supports a team of in-house creatives who plan, conceptualize, and develop assets and materials for a broad range of international clients. The incumbent will provide support for the Design team across various projects, ensuring the effective flow of project communication between all departments and maintaining project timelines.
- This role is a hybrid role working 3 days in our Scarborough office, however, to begin, you will work 5 days in the office during the onboarding and probationary period as this is where the most learning occurs._
- **WHAT YOU WILL DO**_
- People:_
- Work collaboratively and professionally with internal teams to ensure project success.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal teams to comprehend and clarify customer or project requirements.
- Keep project stakeholders updated on key project milestones, issues, and challenges.
- Effectively negotiate solutions surrounding project issues and challenges.
- Build trust, confidence, and the credibility of the creative department.
- Operational Excellence:_
- Review design requests to ensure accuracy and verifies design request due dates.
- Enter design deliverable requests into the system for project execution and control.
- Assign and schedule design deliverables with team members to meet required due dates.
- Ensure all necessary information is collected for jobs entering the studio.
- Create and organize project files on the server, ensuring they are complete and accurate.
- Leadership & Growth:_
- Ensure team compliance with design request processes and related procedures.
- Obtain a thorough understanding of project scope to effectively schedule deliverables and required designers.
- Identify and communicate issues with estimated project times and execution overages that impact deadlines.
- Proactively monitor current and upcoming workload, communicating issues to the Studio Director.
- Attend customer briefings and brainstorming sessions when opportunities arise.
- Financial:_
- Control project scope changes to maintain project budgets and elevates issues to internal teams when necessary.
- Adhere to company standard operating procedures and policies, utilizing company tools and resources.
- Other Duties:_
- Assist with other duties as assigned from time to time.
- **WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED**_
- Technical Skills and Knowledge:_
- 3-5 years of experience in project management for a creative studio.
- College/University Degree in Advertising, Design, Graphic Design, or Project Management.
- Demonstrable experience with project/traffic management software and tools for creative workflows
- POP display experience an asset.
- Understanding of creative and production processes, particularly in graphic design, 3D modeling, and structural design in corrugate and permanent substrates.
