Nominations Outreach

This is a volunteer position.

We are looking for a volunteer Nominations Outreach person to help us broaden our reach to families of children with mobility challenges who could use a renovation to make their home more accessible.

Responsibilities include:

- research groups and organizations that support children with mobility issues
- make recommendations as to how ARK can best connect with target organizations
- identify opportunities to market what we do to a broader audience-participate in outreach events such as agency fairs
- update our contact list with applicable organizations and groups

Qualifications:

- familiarity with organizations that support kids with mobility issues
- strong writing and networking skills
- ability to work independently and to coordinate efforts with ARK's Nominations and Marketing committees

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 3-4 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB T2P 4R5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
