Adventure Construction a Division of Western Colas Canada Inc. is seeking a full-time Office Clerk based in Prince Rupert, BC. Western Colas Canada Inc. is a leader in the construction industry in British Columbia.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Answer phones and greet people who come through the office
- Creating requisitions and matching invoices to receiving documentation
- Receipt or receive materials and supplies ordered by PO and non-PO invoices
- Enter the delivery of materials to construction jobs, pit to pit transfers and FOB asphalt and gravel sales
- Sort, enter, and file hired truck tickets
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Complete cash deposits and worksheets
- Gather financial information for Terus Head Office
- General administrative office duties
- Data entry
- Provide support with paperwork
- Book accommodation and hotel rooms as required per projects or corporate meetings
- Other administrative duties as required as per the following but not limited to:

- Maintain manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists and databases
- Photocopy and collate documents for distribution
- Provide reception relief as required
- Cross training
- Other duties as required
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience in office administration,
- Excellent computer skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent organization skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- A high school diploma

**The following would be an asset**:

- Some knowledge of JD Edwards system
- 2-3 years’ experience in office administration
- Post-secondary courses in office administration, accounting / finance
