**The Role**:_Background, context, and vision for this role._
Todd & Sargent is growing Because of this growth, the Operations Manager needs a right-hand person who is self-sufficient, highly motivated, and extremely detail oriented to ensure systems, processes, and documents meet T&S expectations. This role is excited to flex their level of responsibilities continuously from detail-oriented work to directly assisting the Operations Manager on higher level tasks. This person will serve as a “get it done” person—the Operations Manager will set a vision and this role will be expected to get it done with limited support.
**The What**: _What this role is responsible for. _
- Development + Quality Assurance of Operations Processes_
- Implement Operations Manager’s ideas for the systems and processes for project management.
- Quality control of revisions on documents.
- Create a system to receive new process ideas, vet those ideas, present those ideas, document changes, and roll out updated processes.
- Central Point Person for Operations Processes_
- Serve as the expert for operations processes and provide top-notch customer service to internal teams when they have questions, ideas, etc.
- Serve as the primary training on operations processes for new hires.
- Effectively communicate process changes and have incredible follow up to ensure understanding.
- Learn and become an expert user for our accounting to software and serve as a trainer and point person for it.
- Serve as the primary point person for jobsite administrators for their processes and their questions.
- General Administration & Program Development _
- Manage training certification process.
- Manage apprenticeship programming.
- Assist with contract administration.
- Assist in setting up purchase orders as well as lead purchase order training as needed.
- Assist with collecting forecasts.
- Technology Expert_
- Serve as the excel and word guru for the office and the field.
- Serve as the SharePoint Administrator
- Passion for any other technology tool we use currently or in the future; become an expert in our technology tool.
- Communication _
- Effectively communicate with owners, internal departments, subcontractors, superintendents, vendors and suppliers in a timely manner
- Understand the project expectations and communicate with all parties involved
- Knowledge & Mindset _

- Demonstrates a persistence to get the information needed to get things accomplished.
- Excited about working with construction teams.
- Develop understanding of organizational processes and manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities as necessary.

- Serves as a technology champion and find ways where technology can improve daily work
- Great telephone etiquette.
- Extremely proactive and uses experience to anticipate customer, vendor, and teams’ needs.
- Looks for ways to learn about what T&S does and become passionate for our services.
- Great at asking questions and following up on information needed to complete tasks, commitments, and deadlines.
- Meticulous and thorough in everything this role is asked to do.
**Qualifications**:
- A minimum two-year degree in related field.
- Previous experience in process improvement and documentation of standard operating procedures.
- Advanced level of Excel and Word.
- Previous construction experience is preferred.
