- The Territory Manager (TM) serves as a Trusted Advisor to new and existing accounts by building in-depth knowledge of Ritchie Bros. selling solutions and platforms. The TM effectively positions these solutions to meet the complex needs of customers. The TM will research to identify territory needs and opportunities and use effective sales strategies and go-to-market action plans to maximize Share of Wallet (SOW). This role will oversee the proper execution of Sales and serve as the voice of the customer on many occasions which makes relationship-building skills critical. This role works both independently and collaboratively to build strong partnerships with customers and ensure best in class customer experience. **The Territory for this position is Northeast Alberta.**

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow revenue by promoting and utilizing all Ritchie Bros. selling solutions and platforms to secure new and existing business opportunities
- Delivering the best customer experience is a critical way to bring to life our marketplace vision. Closes direct sales
- Source high potential, new customers within your assigned territory and develop custom multi-channel sales solutions based on customer needs
- Responsible for Core Activities and Behaviors (CABS) goal attainment; established as a systemic approach to maximize contacts and keep Ritchie Bros. solutions top of mind
- Utilize Salesforce to manage assigned accounts, build and optimize Playbook accounts, and drive the sales process with prospects and customers
- Provide customers with market intelligence regarding fleet and/or equipment
- Effectively build partnerships with colleagues within the same region or geography to bring a more optimal coverage model to life
- Evaluate and offer platform solutions that maximize the customer experience, (inspectors, appraisals, etc.)
- Prepare presentations and proposals to secure annual contracts
- Identify and prioritize most urgent/most important tasks, and delegate non-revenue generating activities to optimize Total Selling Time (TST)
- Monitor the market and your competitors’ services, prices, auctions, and sales
- Manage contract fulfillment process, including follow up on changes and obtaining equipment documents (titles, registrations, etc.) from customers
- Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B outside sales role
- Experience in quota-driven sales required (Industry experience/knowledge highly desirable)
- Problem solver
- Knowledge and experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to build and maintain authentic customer relationships
- Competitive without sacrificing integrity
- Relentless drive to seek new business
- Curious
- Time Management skills critical to success
- 1-2 nights per week to cover the territory, as well as up to a week 5 times per year to attend auctions
- The ability to work from various locations (remote/home, customer sites, on the road)
