**Job Description - Marketing Assistant (MA)**

A successful MA has creativity with an eye for accuracy and will:

- Provide services in a manner that demonstrates the principles of appropriate choice, privacy, independence and individuality in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Core Values.
- Manage workflow and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Maintain our social media and online platforms.
- Create our regular newsletters.
- Coordinate and support the team in client and prospective client events.
- Assist the existing team with data entry, file management & other office duties as requested.

**Top Characteristics of an MA**:

- Experience with LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and Google Business.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player and capable collaborator who understands the value we provide to our clients, our marketing niche and what our clients need.
- Has a high capacity for learning, retention and logic.
- Maintain focus on creating a positive client and prospective client experience with us.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills, a genuine respect for others, the ability to influence others, strong listening skills and high level of integrity.
- Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects as per their parameters.
- Knowledge of MailChimp an asset but not essential.
- A basic understanding of the financial services industry, wealth management, life & living benefits insurance is an asset, but not required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

- Wainwright, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
