**Préposé aux Service Alimentaire CHSLD Bayview**

Le Service Alimentaire recherche **un employé sur appel** pour rejoindre l'équipe et se former à plusieurs postes. C'est l'occasion de mettre le pied à l'étrier, car des postes permanents à temps plein seront disponibles au cours des deux prochaines années. **Principales responsabilités**:

- **Collaborer aux activités générales de restauration : Préparation, distribution et entretien.
- Portionner et distribuer les collations et les aliments aux heures de service prévues.
- Servir la clientèle de la cafétéria (résidents, employés et visiteurs).
- Lavage de vaisselle, laver les casseroles, balayer et passer la serpillière.
- Assainir les zones de travail, les ustensiles et les équipements pour garantir la sécurité alimentaire.
- Respecter les procédures de manipulation et de stockage des aliments.

**Exigences**:

- Capacité à travailler sur un quart de travail de 12 heures, de 5 h 45 à 17 h 45 ou de 6 h 30 à 18 h 30, y compris les fins de semaine et les jours fériés, au maximum 3 à 4 jours par semaine.
- Expérience dans le secteur de la restauration (hôpital, CHSLD ou restaurant).
- Capacité de lire, d'écrire et de parler en anglais. Le français parlé et lu doit être fonctionnel.
- Capacité à soulever, tirer et pousser des charges. Capacité à rester debout pendant de longues périodes.
- Motivation et capacité à travailler avec des adultes et des personnes âgées en perte d'autonomie.
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement d'équipe au rythme rapide et à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément.

**Job Post for Food Service Attendant - CHSLD Bayview**

Food Services is looking for an **on-call employee** to join the team to train in multiple positions. This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door as there will be full-time permanent job posts available in the next 2 years. If you are willing to work in housekeeping as well, your potential hours scheduled will increase.

**Salary is $23.52 plus fringe benefits**

**Main responsibilities**:

- Collaborate in general food service activities: Preparation, distribution and maintenance.
- Portion and distribute snacks and foods at scheduled service times.
- Serve cafeteria clientele (residents, staff and visitors).
- Dish washing, pot washing, sweeping and mopping.
- Sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure food safety.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.

**Requirements**:

- **Ability to work a 12 hour shift 5:45-17:45 or 6:30-18:30** including on weekends and statutory holidays, maximum 3-4 days a week.
- Experience in the food service sector (hospital, CHSLD or restaurant).
- Ability to read, write and speak in English. French spoken and read should be functional.
- Ability to lift, pull and push loads. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Motivation and ability to work with adults and seniors with loss of autonomy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
