Richmond, Canada Versante Hotel Full time

Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Responsible for effectively and efficiently ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing and payment
- Posting expenses from credit card statements
- Processing & Entering invoices in accounting system (Sage)
- Processing cheque runs
- Investigating Invoice discrepancies and communicating with vendors to keep all accounts up to date
- Filing Invoice and documents
- Assist with clerical administrative support as needed
- Other duties but not limited to the above

Requirement:

- Some experience as bookkeeper or similar role
- Some knowledge in accounting software in Sage
- Intermediate skills in Excel, MS office
- Understanding basic accounting principle
- Some experience with Accounts Payable/ Account Receivable
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to details
- English Communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of hotel industry and Opera System is an asset
- Work hours - full time - M-F 9:00 to 17:30 (no remote work)

Preferred Skills:

- Experience as an Account Clerk or related position is a plus
- Familiarity with budgeting processes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
