**Job Description**:

Reporting to the Manager or designate, the Clinical Psychology Leader provides professional leadership to psychologists in Child, Youth & Family (CYF) and Child, Youth & Family Mental Health (CYFMH). The Clinical Psychology Leader informs standards and evidence-based practice through clinical supervision to optimize child and family health. The Clinical Psychology Leader will maintain a balanced clinical caseload while facilitating standards for the provision of quality psychology (including neuropsychology, mental health, rehabilitation, ambulatory and VICAN) within the Child, Youth & Family and CYFMH portfolios.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education, Training And Experience**:
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent with primary emphasis in child clinical psychology and/or child clinical neuropsychology. Registered as a psychologist with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia. At least five (5) years of clinical, administrative and supervisory experience in a relevant pediatric setting. Demonstrated experience in clinical supervision is required.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills both with professionals and families.
- Demonstrated problem solving and goal setting skills.
- Ability to organize and lead group meetings.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and evaluate employee performance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ongoing standards of practice/quality care.
- Physical ability to perform the duties required of this position.
