The CSTAR Project Facilitator is responsible to organize, document and facilitate project activities, including supporting project delivery, project management and risk management mitigation. This position will facilitate project and portfolio management reporting, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure outcomes are successfully achieved.

The focus for this position will be on simulation education and research projects, in situ simulation programming and accreditation. The CSTAR Project Facilitator demonstrates a thorough understanding of the accreditation requirements of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). They engage with clients to ensure all educational and research projects and programs are meeting our accreditation standards. They will work with Patient Safety and Risk Management to identify areas of focus for in situ simulation programs and complete documentation on latent safety threats identified during in situ simulation through the AEMS system or other data repository.

Rate of Pay: $31.48 to $39.35 per hour

Status: Tempoary Full-TIme

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

**Qualifications**:

- College Diploma in Health, Business, or Education or as acceptable by the hospital
- Project Management Certification - PREFERRED****:

- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Demonstrated planning and evaluation skills
- Excellent facilitation skills e.g. consensus building and problem solving
- Excellent project and change management skills
- Proficient in financial management
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated resource planning and performance measurement skills
- Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and corporate productivity tools
- Proficient knowledge of local and regional health care systems
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s Mission, Vision and Values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

**Immunization Requirements**:

- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
