We are a Health and Wellness (since 1992) company that distributes a large product line (over 3000 active SKU's) to a wide variety of customers in Canada and the USA. In addition, we have a professional showroom where we also sell direct to health practitioners.
This position is focused on our main warehouse but there are transfers between this warehouse and multiple other warehouses where we stock inventory. We're looking for an experienced warehouse leader with at least 5 years of management experience.
Main responsibilities include:
- Keep the warehouse running smoothly - shipments both inbound and outbound, inventory control and staffing (approx 8 warehouse staff)
- Communicate, motivate and lead the team
- Attend weekly management meetings
- Foster a positive attitude in the warehouse toward continual improvement, efficiency and teamwork.
- Plan, organize, count and manage inventory and cycle counts.
- Drive the forklift and handle the pallet jacks
- On a daily basis, you may need to assist in picking, packing, loading, receiving or enter shipment info to our carriers, whatever might be required to get the job done. You will ensure packing list and BOL integrity and coordinate with the invoicing department.
