Health Care Strategy is currently seeking an individual to perform a consultant role in the development, implementation, and continuous quality improvement of the WCB-AB’s Disability Management Initiatives. We strive to build a strong community and clinical partnerships with our providers for a successful experience and service journey for our workers.

Your Health Care Services Consultant responsibilities:
Health Care Consultants contribute to the continuous quality improvement of programs and services offered to injured Albertans. Responsibilities include building strong relationships with the providers and internal stakeholders, stakeholder contract orientation and training, service evaluation and outcome management, project management, the monitoring of compliance to contract standards, the identification of issues and, where necessary, the implementation of corrective action.

Your experience and skills:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive work experience and knowledge of claims management, health care, health care administration or rehabilitation. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.

Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills are required (communication, team building, facilitation, consultation, and negotiation skills are essential).

Salary: Grade 13: $95,459 to $119,288
