Reporting to the Supervisor of HR Digitization, Pension and Payroll, the HR Systems & Digitization Analyst provides support to the HR department and the County of Simcoe by providing HR data through generating analysis and insights, assisting in the development, digitization, and optimization of HR processes. In addition, provide HR level technical support and end user support to HR software systems and related processes.

1. Provides reporting / report mechanism that will analyze and identify people trends in workforce and succession planning, other metrics, key performance indicators and compiles benchmark data for Human Resources to be leveraged in strategic decision making.

2. Conduct research on industry market data about job related information, compensation, benefits, and other HR components. Identify trends and insights from HR data and other sources, to inform business leaders.

3. Contribute to the design and evaluation of HR programs and processes based on workforce data and findings. Recommend enhancements to improve the quality of HR systems and contribute to ongoing efforts to streamline HR workflows and enhance overall efficiency.

4. Assists in the creation of detailed cross-functional and interactive divisional dashboards and work plans with critical milestones to deliver new reports, processes, and tools as it relates to Human Resources.

5. Support the employee user experience by collaborating with IT team and department stakeholders to address inquiries, feedback and changes pertaining to the HR functions within the company-defined platform; be a member of roll out team for added programming features.

6. In partnership with IT BA, compile changes to collective agreement, policy and legislated requirements updating or create new functionality in SAP as identified. Complete necessary research, and work with IT to implement. Ensure new procedures are developed, documented, and implemented, when necessary.

7. Assume a strong facilitating role in all HR system projects, conducting workshops and facilitate open and transparent working sessions, listening to voice of customer. Collaborate with end users and IT BA, to ensure LEAN principles are applied to improve (and document) HR workflow processes and enhance overall efficiency.

8. Assist end users with the testing of annual updates or upgrades for all HR systems. Actively participate in testing and / or validation of updates as needed. Assist end users identify, understand, and document potential problems and work closely with IT and end users to resolve, or develop and implement new procedures as required. Build testing scripts based on use cases as required.

9. Working with the Payroll Partner, set up and implement routine SAP training for new and existing timekeepers, schedulers, managers, and HR staff in SAP navigation through HR, payroll, time keeping functionality.

10. Participate on committees, work groups, task forces and special projects, as assigned.

11. Participate in various other HR related projects and work groups, as assigned.

12. Comply with provincial and County occupational health and safety legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.

13. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

14. Perform other duties as assigned, in accordance with Departmental objectives.

**EDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS & CERTIFICATION**:

- Degree in Human Resources, or related field that would provide knowledge to support decision making and analysis in this role or equivalent additional recent years of related experience.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Data compilation, reporting, trend and forecast analysis required, with a strong knowledge of Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to work with all levels of End Users, technical and consulting personnel, ensuring their requirements, and testing needs are fully met and understood by all parties.
- Incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and be detail oriented and focused with the ability to manage simultaneous deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools.
- Experience working with one of the following: Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or similar BI toolsets for the analysis and creation of data visualizations, dashboards and reports, would be considered an asset.
