**CALIBRATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN**

**Position Summary**:
Alpha Controls is currently seeking a Calibration Service Technician for calibrating a variety of instrumentation in our Markham lab. Using your knowledge and proper handling techniques, you will work on a broad range of instrumentation such as temperature/humidity probes and measuring devices, data loggers, multimeters, gauges, calibrators, etc.

**What you will be doing**:

- Calibrating and servicing a variety of process & HVAC instrumentation
- Coordinating incoming instrumentation for calibration or repair
- Service evaluations
- Light repairs of instrumentation (e.g. fuses, boards, etc.)
- Provide and maintain exceptional service to our customers with outstanding quality of service and communication
- Completing customer files (make sure service was completed in accordance with customer requirements)
- Follow all safety procedures and practices at all times

**Education and Experience**:

- Instrumentation Technology Diploma or equivalent experience a must
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in calibration/service

- Ability to deal clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers and co-workers
