**Job Type**:Full Time
**Payrate**:$26:00 per hour
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday 0600 - 14:00
**Overview**:
Join Allied Universal as a dedicated and seasoned Security Site Chief, where you will be instrumental in safeguarding our premises, assets, and personnel. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a team of security officers, enforce security protocols, and uphold an unwavering commitment to maintaining a secure environment.
**Requirement**:
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in security.
- Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
- Must have a valid BC Security License.
- Must have a reliable Vehicle
- Must have a provisional driver's license
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
- First Aid and CPR.
- Must be vigilant in monitoring CCTV cameras, for the location.
- Experience in logging trucks in warehouse is an asset
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead a team of security personnel, ensuring effective patrolling and site security.
- Cultivate positive relationships with clients, visitors, and employees through exemplary customer service and effective communication.
- Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Coordinating with other team members to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.
- Supervise the day to day security operations of an assigned client site
- Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling,training, coaching, development and support
- Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property
- Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
- Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed operational goals and provide quality customer service
- Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met
- Assure regular communication of issues or program with Client
- Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately
- Other Supervisory / management responsibilities as determined by leadership
