Grounds Maintenance

**About us**

Point of Mara Resort & Trailer Park, a family run campground / trailer park in Brechin on Lake Simcoe, is looking to fill a Grounds Maintenance & Campground Attendant position for this upcoming summer season (April-October). **Who we are looking for**: person with some maintenance or laborer experience who can assist with general maintenance/operations around the campground. You must be able commit to weekdays and some weekends as needed.
- Do you have some maintenance experience and would consider yourself “handy”?
- Are you reliable and responsible?
- Are you a team player?
- Do you have experience operating some tools and power tools?
- Do you take direction clearly & are a quick learner?
- Do you have physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods?
- Do you have an eye for detail and take pride in everything you do?

**Responsibilities**:

- General yard cleanup, lawn maintenance & light landscaping
- Operate vehicles such as tractors for lawn maintenance and upkeep of grounds (rolling grass, grass cutting, stacking firewood, weeds, etc)
- Use power tools for various general labour projects (trailer & deck leveling, maintenance/fixing, etc.)
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Effective communication skills, speaking, listening and responding
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact with customers with a positive attitude
- Ability to follow and take direction from Supervisors/Managers

**Salary**: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
