**About the Role**
This position combines the core responsibilities of both branches of the PCIP department, Professional Conduct (PC) and Illegal Practice (IP), with a primary focus on enforcement of standards for registrants, including complaints, investigation, and discipline, as well as investigation into misrepresentation and the illegal practice of architecture by non-registrants.
Working closely with the Professional Conduct Officer, you will:

Working closely with the Illegal Practice Officer, you will also participate in:

Additionally, the ability to work with considerable autonomy, show initiative in decision-making, and pay exceptional attention to detail in all related tasks is of critical importance.

**About You**
If you have a passion for professional ethics and administrative law, and enjoy working both independently and in a collaborative team environment, this opportunity is for you

Specifically, we are seeking individuals with:

- advanced research, critical thinking, and analysis skills;
- good computer skills and the ability to use tools and software such as Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, databases etc.).

Ideally, you have gained these capacities through:

- a university or associate degree in legal studies, political science, public policy or related field, or a diploma or certificate from a recognized paralegal program. An equivalent combination of related experience, education, or training may be considered; and
- at least two years of experience in compliance, legal administration and/or paralegal experience in a law office, a regulatory body, public sector, or non-profit organization.
