**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Environmental Utility is a member of the Environmental services team whose role is to maintain a clean, safe and functional environment within assigned areas throughout York Care Centre.
This includes the cleaning and sanitization of common areas, surfaces and equipment. Perform floor and ground maintenance, perform functions associated with waste management, and transport laundry carts. Additionally, they are responsible for functions associated with materials management; e.g. receiving, ordering, and stocking supplies, monitoring and documenting inventory etc. The Environmental Utility also completes all assigned paperwork in accordance with departmental procedures; e.g. documenting refrigerator / freezer temperatures etc.
Ensuring all products / chemicals used in support of environmental services are properly labelled, properly prepared, replenished when necessary, and are kept in locked areas in accordance with departmental procedures.

Part-time hours: 15-37.5 per week
**Salary**: $18.72-$20.17 per hour
