The Recruiter is responsible for managing the recruitment process for the Company. The Recruiter will be recruiting for constructions professionals, administrative personnel and other staffing needs. The role requires an outgoing, positive personality, is well organized with exceptional customer service and astute business etiquette. Expertise and knowledge about the culture, business, policies, workings and activities of the Company, its staff, and clients is expected. The position demands tact and diplomacy, strictly maintaining confidentiality and the ability to communicate at all employee levels.

This position is based in our **Burlington** office.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following; however, other duties may be assigned. To perform in this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Writes and places advertisements for open positions.
- Performs verbal pre-screenings and schedules interviews.
- Schedules pre-employment and developmental assessments.
- Send confirmation letters for acceptance of offers of employment to appropriate managers.
- Performs education, reference and Criminal Record Checks.
- Sends “no thank you” correspondence to all non-qualified applicants.
- Administers onboarding process by preparing new hire toolkits, new hire onboarding documents and preparing new hire entry forms
- Provides regular status reports to Human Resources Manager/ HR Business Partner for open positions.
- Coordinate, register and attend career fairs, seminars and any other events as required by the Company.
- Collaborates with the Human Resources department to provide accurate reporting data relative to recruiting activity for each open position.
- Maintain and build partnerships with post-secondary schools, recruiters, temporary help agencies, and other organizations as required.
- Conduct new hire HR orientation.
- Maintains confidential employee records and personnel files.

**Education, Experience, and Skills**

Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Resources, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent related experience. **Three (3)** to **five (5)** years recruiting experience preferred. Experience recruiting within Construction an asset. Advanced level computer skills are required. HRIS and ATS knowledge is strongly preferred.
