**The Position**:
Reporting to the _Supervisor, Member Excellence, _and the _Senior Manager, Member Experience,_ the _Customer Sales & Service Representative_ is part of a team that ensures all key indicators of sales and customer service are met and/or exceeded. The Customer Sales & Service team ensures all members and potential members receive excellent service and accurate information. As a member of our Rentals team, you will be an ambassador for our external rentals and events, monitoring court play, as well as ensuring events run smoothly from beginning to end.

- **Support.** You will work towards and achieve personal and team sales targets, model excellence in both sales and service. You will register new and existing clients for all member based and programming services. You will make decisions and solve problems regarding membership sales and service functions, members' accounts, members' concerns, and members' behaviour. You will generate sales and donation leads including calling members and prospective members to discuss membership and programs, and actively promote new programs to members. You will open/close rooms and ensure Room Rental Clients are registered, payments processed, tour provided, equipment use demonstrated, and questions answered. You will Monitor court use to ensure all health and safety protocols and rules are being followed.
- **Build relationships**. You will cultivate a member-centered environment through exceptional customer service. You will be member-focused at all times, prioritize all responsibilities in order to seek out opportunities to initiate conversations with members and prospective members. You will handle membership inquiries by building rapport, asking probing questions to ascertain prospective member needs and interests, and customize tour of the facility linking member interests to program options. You will be an ambassador at events, aware of key details and ensuring events run smoothly beginning to end.
- **Administration. **You will track cash collected and transactions completed during shift, process hold and cancellation requests, and conduct cleanliness check and arrange cleaning as necessary. You will coordinate with the supervisor to have knowledge of all rentals taking place during your shift.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- **The education and experience.** You are a high school graduate or pursuing post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Social Development, Health and Wellness, or related programs. You have previous sales, customer service and/or retail experience, preferably in a membership/client-based environment. You have event planning and/or hospitality experience.
- **The professional skills. **You are self-motivated, demonstrating initiative, and keen attention to detail.You have well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with people, staff, and volunteers of diverse backgrounds. You have the agility, critical thinking, decisiveness, and are a confident decision maker. You can manage multiple demands through well-developed organizational and time management skills. You are an effective team player with positive attitude, whose interactions demonstrate accountability, authenticity, and collaboration. You are dedicated to customer service that exceeds expectations. You have commitment to continuous learning opportunities. You are friendly, professional, and excited about being a part of events within A.C.
- **The technical skills and knowledge**. You are proficient with Microsoft Office. You have good written and verbal communication skills. You have knowledge of accessibility and accommodation.
- **The administrative requirements. **You have a **current, clear criminal record check for the vulnerable sector **from the last 6 months. You have a current, valid **First Aid and CPR ‘C’ / AED**.
- **The availability. **You may be required to workdays, evenings and weekends. You must be available to work at least one weekday shift and one weekend shift per week if/when require
