**WE WANT YOU** (and your mad skills)
On a CG animated TV series, working with the Art Director, Director and Modeling Supervisor/team, the Senior Foliage Artist is responsible for creating and/or modifying foliage, rocks and natural like assets and distributing them through out the sets in the show.
- This role will require multiple days in the office per week._
**In this role you will**:
- Collaborating with the art team and acting positively on Art Direction and feedback, to complete the work to a high quality and required art style.
- Interpreting 2D concept art and reference into accurate 3D models that capture the spirit of the concept as well as the technical dimensions.
- Significant experience and techniques in the creation of trees, plants, shrubs, and vines using cards/flats.
- Demonstrate exceptional skills in creating and texturing 3D vegetation, enhancing environments using SpeedTree.
- Understanding and experience with Mash and set dressing tool base software.
- Collaborates with lighters and compositors to make sure the final look is achieved.
- Collaborates with animation to ensure all elements are included and set-up as required.
**Need to have**:
- Must demonstrate an extensive knowledge of staging and composition.
- Superior level proficiency using Maya is required.
- SpeedTree modelling skills (or similar software) is required.
- Great understanding of proportion, scale, perspective, lighting and colour.
- Familiarity with Substance Painter and Photoshop texturing skills, targeting physically based rendering.

- Mash
- xGen
**Nice to have**:
- Degree and/or diploma in fine arts or animation or equivalent
