**Human Resources Coordinator**

**Reports To**

Director of Operations

**Compensation**

$55,000 /yr

**Summary**

The HR Coordinator will work closely with managers and supervisors to ensure that HR processes such as hiring, payroll, benefits administration and general employment policies are adhered to and implemented in a timely manner. The HR coordinator will support the planning, development and implementation of employee relation strategies.

**Duties**
- Preparing maintaining human resource records including contracts, performance reviews and benefits to ensure that they are accurate, up to date and filed appropriately.
- Assist in creating new HR policies, conveying those policies to staff and ensuring the employee handbook is up to date.
- Provide assistance and support to employees while maintaining strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Assist in the maintenance of general office supplies and special orders.
- Knowledgeable in legal and compliance issues regarding Employment Standards Act, Worker Compensation and Human Rights Code legislation.
- Conduct employee onboarding by preparing new hire letters and SOP / Policy packages.
- Assist in people and culture support, event planning and implementation.
- Act as a resource for leadership and team members on employee relation issues.
- Support and administer conflict resolution, corrective action and / or disciplinary processes as required.

**Qualifications**
- College and /or University Degree in Human Resources
- Certificate in HR management or administration.
- HR Certification is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
