**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling or a related field
- Current member (or eligible to register) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers (OCSWSSW), and/or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
- Canadian Certified Addiction Counsellor certification an asset
- Minimum 2 years’ of experience in teaching (face-to-face and online modalities) with demonstrated commitment to experiential teaching and learning approaches, and curriculum development at the post-secondary level or equivalent experience as a facilitator in the field
- Minimum 5 years’ of proven clinical experience building therapeutic relationships, with demonstrated experience in the provision of client intakes or assessments, crisis intervention and trauma informed practice, brief or short-term counselling to individuals, group therapy, and psycho-educational workshops
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Experience in providing client-centred, trauma-informed addiction treatment for alcohol and substance use disorders, and behavioural dependencies
- Experience working with, and an understanding of, issues impacting outcomes for systemically excluded populations
- Proven commitment to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Decolonization practice including knowledge and experience of working with diverse communities
- Ability to effectively integrate new technology into teaching and learning
- Proven ability to contribute to, and work in, a positive team environment and to foster the same in their students
- Experience with online course development and/or online teaching
- Experience in some or all of the following: curriculum development, a variety of delivery strategies, adult learning methodologies, academic advising, evaluating student progress/achievement, curriculum revision, program revision and renewal activities and student success strategies

**Approximate Start Date: June 5, 2023**

**Salary**: Determination of starting salaries is based on relevant teaching/occupational experience and relevant formal qualifications, supported with original transcripts from granting institutions. The salary scale is $67,221 to $116,532 along with a comprehensive benefit package.**Partial load or full-time academic staff presently employed with the College will be given first consideration in accordance with the Academic Collective Agreement.**
