To meet these growth challenges, WSP is currently looking for a **Manager, Electrical - Renewables Team **to join our Electrical team, located in one of our offices in Canada.
**The position is available in our offices in Quebec City, Montreal and Edmonton.**
**What you can expect to do with us**:
- Supervise a team of engineers and technicians across Canada responsible for the development of renewable energy projects and high-voltage substations;
- Actively participate in decisions regarding team development and vision;
- Support the technical development of the team by providing training and mentoring;
- Actively contribute to the technical implementation of projects;
- Ensure project quality control by reviewing peer work and following established processes;
- Assist the market development team by providing support for service proposals and opportunity evaluations; Serve as a technical advisor in due diligence mandates.
**We'd love to hear more about you if you have**:
- Recognized electrical engineer in at least one Canadian province with around 10 years of relevant experience;
- Experience in detailed engineering of renewable energy projects: Solar, Wind, BESS;
- Experience in detailed engineering of high-voltage and medium-voltage substations;
- Personnel management experience;
- Proficient in both spoken and written French and English;
- Known for leadership skills and the ability to foster teamwork.
