The Foreman is responsible for end-to-end project success. They are the on-site person who ensures the Project is completed safely, accurately to specifications, and on time. The Foreman provides the majority of the on-site support and training to the Abatement Technician crew. Also ensures not only the timely performance of all Project tasks but also that Project tasks are safely performed to the highest standards. Foremen must also comply with company safety documentation, and first aid OFA level 1 is mandatory.

Major Areas of Responsibility
- Manage high, medium and low hazard risk sites with strong focus on safety
- Assess job-site task flow and hold a daily tailgate meeting
- Monitor progress of each job-site task
- Complete daily safety documentation
- Assess and assure job-site safety and regulatory compliance
- Thoroughly document and report the details of each project’s daily progression
- Provide training in best use of equipment, resources and abatement techniques
- Assist crew with abatement processes
- Coordinate bins pickup or debris need for sites
- Team leadership, teach and uphold company culture
- Hazmat suits, as they will be required throughout the day to work at high and medium risk sites can present physical challenges
- Training in the best use of tools and techniques for the safest and most effective outcome
- Situation specific problem solving

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Willing to continuously upgrade knowledge, practices and procedures, and acquire applicable certifications
- Perform continuous checks on hazmat and job-site equipment
- Physically fit
- Work well with others
- Ability to provide comprehensive training to crews
- Licensed abatement professional through WorkSafe BC
- Ability to use a wide variety of hand and power tools is required

Must have WSBC LEVEL 2 & 3 Asbestos ticket

**Salary**: $32.00-$41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
