**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Help ensure the crop is healthy and growing optimally
- Works directly under the guidance of Head Grower
- Pepper & Cucumber fruit counts
- Production forecasting
- Assist the grower in ensuring that climate is optimal for growing conditions
- Monitoring and scouting of pests and diseases
- Coordinating with management on all biological programs and implementation
- Supervision of IPM protocols to pest and disease management as well as compiling IPM and conventional reports for management review and action planning
- Maintaining up to date records and reports
- Assist in planning, organizing, training, and assigning scout duties
- Assist the grower in implementation of our Food & Health Safety programs / policies/ processes
- Operate scissor lifts, EC meter, PH meter and other equipment
- Collect water samples
- Mixing fertilizers
- Share “on-call” alarm duties with Grower
- Available to work a flexible work schedule
- Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- 1+ years management/leadership experience
- Bachelors in horticulture required
- Analytical Thinker
- Leadership Skills
- Strong Communication Skills
- Planning and Organizing
- Attention to Detail
