**Reporting to**: Manager of Facilities Services

**Salary**:
Classification 9, $26.55 - $27.37 per hour, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Evening shifts are entitled to receive an additional $0.65/hr and shifts that occur on the weekends receive an additional stipend. Temporary employees also receive an additional $0.56/hr. in lieu of benefits, as well as having 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay.

**Description**:
This is a relief on call position to provide coverage for regular staff's vacation or illness leave, or to provide additional coverage for events, if required.

The Campus Security/Maintenance personnel are expected to have the ability to effectively manage and resolve conflict demonstrating tact and diplomacy, having excellent interpersonal skills and being an effective team member. A supportive attitude to students and a firm commitment to fostering a student-centered environment are expected.
- Evening shift is 3:30p.m. to 2:30a.m. on a rotating 4 on/4 off schedule. Day shift is Monday - Friday, 7:00a.m. to 3:00p.m._
