**Located in Salmon Arm BC, Dinoflex is the leading innovator and manufacturer of recycled rubber products for over three decades. We are passionately doing what is uniquely different, driving innovative change, and looking for great people to help us get there.**

We are currently hiring an **Assistant Controller **for a 3-month term with the opportunity to extend**. **We are looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys learning new things and seeks out continual improvement. This is a **temporary position** reporting directly to the Controller.

**Responsibilities of this Position**:

- Full cycle month end compilation and reporting including necessary adjustments with reasonable support
- Ensure accurate accounting principles are upheld and financial reporting requirements are met
- Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements
- Assist in the annual audit preparations and financial statements
- Assist in the annual budget process
- Inventory tracking, reporting and product costing
- Compliance filings with CRA and International authorities
- Assisting the Controller with implementation projects and various accounting functions
- Evaluate and provide recommendations for internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reports and the safeguarding of the company’s assets

**Skills Required**:

- Strong computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office apps particularly Power BI
- Professional Designation in Accounting (CPA) or equally experienced
- Ability to effectively utilize excel for creating, combining, and reporting data
- Highly organized and accurate with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines

**Other non-required but preferred skills**:

- Experience working with an ERP system - preferably SAP Business One
- Experience working with inventory
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry of BC
- Experience with e-commerce business
