**Finishing Site Superintendent Job Posting**

Lubec Construction Ltd is a fast-growing Construction Management Company with Head Office location located in Victoria, British Columbia that specializes in multi-family wood frame construction. Lubec Construction is a forward thinking and innovative firm that incorporates all levels of knowledge and experience to execute each project efficiently. As we expand, we are looking for a dynamic, organized and hardworking Finishing Site Superintendent to run the day-to-day finishing operations on a multi-family construction site located In Langford, BC.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in all phases of commercial and multi-family residential construction.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finishing Site Superintendent role in multi-family residential construction.
- Experience with Concrete and Wood Construction, Civil & Excavation, and Exterior Envelope
- Operating Skid Steers & Zoom Booms is and asset
- Proficient with Computers including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project is a must.
- Experience using Autodesk Construction Management Software is an asset.
- Red Seal Carpenter Certificate is an asset.
- Proof of Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driver’s Abstract is a must.
- Level 2 or 3 First Aid is an asset.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work alongside General Site Superintendent to complete the facilitate the below items specifically in relation to the finishing of the interior of the project.
- Ability to create and follow the project schedule with updates maintained on a weekly basis.
- Review the project plans and specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems.
- Keep up to date with RFI’s and Site Instructions.
- Keep up to date with Submittals.
- Review and accept the general conditions budget.
- Assemble the job site office and equipment requirements.
- Have confidence in own ability to intelligently communicate with design team/client as well as effectively lead the trades.
- Contact, schedule and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers and utilities.
- Raise and discuss relevant issues at the job site meetings.
- Inform the General Site Superintendent of any errors, discrepancies or omissions contained within the Consultant's design drawings.
- Coordinate and direct independent testing and inspections as required.
- Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control.
- Maintain a Safe Work Site under Lubec Construction Safety Policy.
- Maintain control and responsibility for the security and operation of Lubec's directly owned equipment on the job site.
- Control and monitor labor, material and equipment expenses. Assist in preparation of the monthly cost forecasting summaries.
- Ensure that "as-built" drawings are prepared on an ongoing basis by all trades during the construction period.
- Coordinate all required municipal inspections.
- Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists.
- Ensure Site Opening and lock-up is completed each day
- Record daily superintendent logs
- Record daily site photos
