We are a leading construction development company, Linxus Group, focusing on the design and production of multi-family apartments and condominiums within Canada. Our team is seeking an experienced Foreman to help continue to grow our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain Company Safety Guidelines: Ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Construction Schedule Management: Understand and implement changes to accommodate work schedules accordingly.
- Communication and Leadership: Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints, and convey this information to others. Plan, implement, and manage construction tasks in accordance with priorities and goals.
- Team Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to report project status to the superintendent daily.
- Safety and Quality: Good understanding of safety policies and safe work practices, ensuring all safety rules are followed at all times. Develop and oversee quality standards on all sites.
- Education and Experience: Completed high school or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Leadership and Communication: Open-minded, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively.
- Certifications and Skills: 3rd or 4th level Journeyman Carpenter, strong leadership skills, and effective participation in a team environment.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Industry Knowledge: 5 years of related construction experience and ability to travel as required.
