Machinist or Machinist Apprentice

Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines along with various other equipment and hand tools to produce parts.
- Inspect finished products for quality and precision
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Assemble fabricated parts into subassemblies or finished products

**Skills**:

- Ability to fabricate parts according to specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Additional training can be provided as needed -Welding ability an asset

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machinist or in a similar role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new technologies

Pay: $24.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
