Electrical Technician

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Interpret and comprehend engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Assemble electrical panels according to design requirements and project specifications.
- Select and organize electrical components, like circuit breakers, relays, switches, etc.
- Efficiently and safely wire electrical panels based on wiring diagrams.
- Terminate and connect wires, ensuring proper routing and organization within the panel.
- Perform continuity and functional tests to verify the accuracy of wiring installations.
- Inspect finished panels for quality and adherence to design standards.
- Troubleshoot and rectify any wiring or assembly issues, ensuring compliance
- Work closely with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Provide feedback on design improvements or modifications that could enhance the assembly process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during the assembly and wiring processes.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including any modifications or adjustments made during the build.
- Document and report issues encountered during the assembly process.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma or degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years’ experience as an electrical technician with a focus on panel assembly and wiring.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in assembly work.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
**Salary**: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
