Borden's Municipal Childcare Committee is hiring for full time and casual positions
Our centre will be opening in Late Summer / Early Fall 2023 and we are looking to hire Early Childhood Educators and casual staff to start in August. When the centre opens, the successful applicants will work closely with other staff, children, and families to provide a safe, nurturing environment where each child may develop to their potential. About Little Sprouts Early Learning Centre: We are a non-profit organization that will offer childcare in Borden, Saskatchewan. We are a small government licensed and subsidized centre with 26 spaces that provides care to children from 6 months to 6 years old.
Mission: We are committed to providing reliable and safe childcare in an enriching and stimulating environment; striving to be supportive and understanding to family needs and diversity.
Vision: Children learn through play and interaction. An environment that is passionate about nurturing the whole child and cares for their needs as a developing citizen. Strengthening our community with its youngest members to ensure prosperity for Borden.
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Educations (ECE Level I, ECE Level II, and ECE Level III) at a recognized college or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting (asset)
- Valid First-Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check (required)
- Experience with parent engagement apps (asset)
- Additional computer skills (asset)
- Safe Food Handling Certificate (asset)
- Knowledge and understanding of Saskatchewan Childcare Legislation and Policy (asset)
Wage: Competitive wages plus the Wage Enhancement Benefit based on level of education.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
**Salary**: $14.00-$20.00 per hour
