Service Worker / Medical Office Assistant (MOA), Physician Assistant

**Job Type**: 0.8 -1.0 FTE, Permanent position after probationary period

**Hours**: Tuesday-Friday from 9:00-5:00

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour depending on experience

**Start Date**:
**Duties overall (not limited to)**:

- Help patients through the clinic.
- Clean ultrasound rooms between patients according to protocols
- Reception tasks: arrive and greet patients, phone calls, book appointments, use
fax/scanner, etc.
- Responsible for timely and efficient ultrasound room turn over, following infection
prevention protocols.
- Reprocessing & sterilization of endovaginal ultrasound probes.
- General tidying and improvement of patient workflow.
- Closing end of day protocol for clinic.

**Requirements**:

- MOA certification from an accredited institution or higher preferred
- 1+ years of proven clerical or customer service work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, Accuro EMR or Velox experience an asset
- Prior experience in a diagnostic facility is an asset.
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
- Attention to details is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Possesses excellent time-management skills
- Dependable and Reliable
- Positive team player, kind with others, able to give and receive feedback
- Ability to reflect, improve and work on personal growth

**Other**: Infection Prevention Protocols in place with access to PPE

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
