**As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for day-to-day building maintenance**

**Schedule: Monday - Friday 9AM to 5PM**

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Clean/organize maintenance-related areas to keep compliant with regulations.
- Keep machinery, equipment and tools clean and organized to ensure optimum working order.
- Complete minor building repairs and maintenance.
- Adjust and maintain doors and door openers.
- Repair and minor patching to floor surfaces.
- Perform miscellaneous maintenance work such as snow removal, empty garbages, recycle material.
- Respond to work order requests and supervisors' directions to perform troubleshooting, installation, repairs, replacements, and maintenance tasks.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal and external project participants to ensure that all parties are well-informed and that work proceeds on schedule with mínimal impact to University operations.
- Custodial duties as needed to maintain our building

**Essential Requirements**:
Some lifting is required. Willingness to assist in emergency after-hours repairs and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with maintenance best practices, including preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to work on elevated surfaces.
- Able to work in extreme temperatures and noise levels.
