**I.** **Summary of Position**

The compliance analyst will ensure that the organization's operations and procedures meet government and industry compliance standards. Responsible for proactively identifying risk to the organization, and reporting findings to the Compliance Officer.

**II. Principal Accountabilities**
- Keeping up-to-date with regulatory compliance requirements.
- Identifying, analyzing and responding to consumer complaints.
- Communicating and providing support to clients in order to resolve complaints.
- Responding to regulators in response to regulatory complaints and regulatory inquiries.
- Developing and maintaining a compliant recordkeeping system.
- Preparing and delivering reports and other required data as per client and management schedules and requests.
- Researching industry compliance regulations and policies.
- Evaluating internal operational and procedural compliance.
- Analyzing and updating existing compliance policies and related documentation.
- Developing and executing new compliance policies and procedures as required.
- Investigating and responding to client and management inquiries related to compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Assisting with responding to Audit and RFP requests related to compliance programs and regulatory requirements.

**III. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Post-secondary degree or 1-2 year’s relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English (French is a benefit).
- Ability to work in a high-efficiency environment.
- Effective research and reporting skills.
- Previous experience as a compliance analyst, or an in-depth knowledge of industry compliance standards is preferred.

**IV.** **Quantitative Dimensions**

Ability to maintain personal goals while achieving unit goals

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
