**POSITION**: Quality Control Technician REPORTS TO: Quality Assurance Manager
We are looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Assurance team Our Quality Control Technician will be responsible for quality control and ensure that all quality requirements are met before our product reaches our customers.

EXPERIENCE
- You have experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in a food production facility
- You have a high school diploma or equivalency

NICE-TO-HAVE
- Formal education in related field or 1-year relevant experience

THINGS YOU WILL DO
- Monitor incoming ingredients, and key quality parameters
- Support quality complaint investigation by retrieving retention samples
- Collaborate with various teams such as R&D, QA, and operations to ensure alignment with company priorities and strategic targets
- Conduct shelf-life studies and compile reports
- Complete data entry and record keeping. Regularly filing records and document management

OTHER
- You are willing to work flexible shifts to cover for vacations, sick days or leave if required

**DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES**:

- Monitor incoming ingredients, verify COA against the ingredient spec sheets and conduct grain testing on incoming loads.
- Monitor key quality parameters from pre-bake to post-bake.
- Monitor key quality parameters based on the specifications set by R&D
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, Verify accuracy and completeness of data.
- Escalate any deviations observed to QA and Operations (production supervisors)
- Monitor product safety and quality, production processes and personnel GMP practice to ensure compliance to company and regulatory standards.
- Compile reports on weekly and monthly sensory evaluations
- Collaborate with R&D and Operations and conduct root cause analysis sessions on various Quality issues.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA and Operations on product trials and product launches.
- Support product launches by collecting data and samples.
- Follow safe work practices and procedures as per company policies and procedures and Work Safe regulations.
- Provide backup support for other QC& QA positions as needed.
