We are searching for a **Financial Systems Analyst** to join our **Finance team** based in **Halifax, Nova Scotia**

**About the Opportunity**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess and implement integrated financial reporting and budgeting system solutions
- Collaborate with financial teams to design, develop and maintain reports and dashboards in our reporting software
- Perform system and report audits and troubleshoot to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Assist in the creation general ledger accounts and govern the maintenance of general ledger (GL), validation rules, account tree maintenance, metric and planning accounts, ensuring alignment with financial best practices and compliance requirements.
- Analyze financial data, generate reports, and provide insights to support informed decision-making by stakeholders.
- Sustain reporting integration and report maintenance in our financial reporting systems, provide governance over the financial planning software, including version control, and creation and maintenance of planning accounts, core structure, and calculations.

**About You**

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a financial reporting role
- Experience with financial report development and dashboard creation
- Experience with Yardi, and Workday Adaptive Insights considered an asset
- Proficiency in understanding accounting and financial reporting
- Proficiency with interpreting data in order to communicate business needs
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
