**Responsibilities**:

- Participation in the daily production meeting
- Responsible for demand supply planning and leading the process
- Consult with production manager to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
- Provide daily and weekly production schedule to department managers
- Work with the plant manager to optimize the usage of production capacity and meet customer demand
- Examine inventory levels and availability of raw materials to meet production schedules
- Monitor and anticipate when changes may be needed to the production schedule in order to support on-time delivery of customer demand and company objectives
- Thoroughly planning use of productive resources to best utilize and meet customer demands
- Analyze capacity issues including staff or raw material shortages and machinery malfunctions and revise schedule accordingly on an ongoing basis
- Communicate with sales, logistics, production and material management teams to solve issues
- Production KPI reporting and analysis and lead inventory counts
- Take follow-up actions in relation to material shortages (determine substitutes, expedite, modify schedule, etc.)
- Lead/Expert user for the ERP system, managing all production requirements and inventory.
- Create, review, and release production orders on ERP per schedule, drive continuous process improvement and optimization of the ERP platform
- Maintain the integrity of the MRP system regarding system transactions.
- Maintain routing and bill of material for production orders together with QA
- Update and generate weekly production reports and efficiency key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Purchasing to requisite and expedite material from warehouse/suppliers for production, as needed
- Collect and evaluate data to identify waste or overtime sources
- Collaborate with customer service, sales, plant staff and shipping/receiving department's
- Lead the data team to accurately analyze data and use technology to conduct root cause analysis to solve various problems
- Perform root-cause analysis using various problem solving techniques to identify and subsequently solve issues in a systematic manner with timeline in mind.
- Assist in special projects related to production and inventory control as required
- Support new IT initiatives and assist with testing new software functions

**Qualifications**:

- University degree
- Minimum 3 years of production scheduling and production analysis in related industries
- ERP system super user responsible for running MPS, MRP, maintaining Master data and coaching users on daily basis
- Proven experience in demand planning, production planning, inventory control
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Results oriented with a strong analytical approach to problem solving
- Great problem-solving ability
- Diligent and punctual
- High energy and motivated
- Detail orientated and organized
- Chinese speaking preferred
- Experience in food Manufacturing industry will be an asset
- Proficient in Excel
- Cantonese or Mandarin speaking

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
