We're in search of a dynamic **Bar & Events Lead **who not only thrives in a high-energy atmosphere but genuinely revels in it. You will work closely with our Experience & Culture Coordinator by executing the events that make KWENCH the city's place to be

**Responsibilities**:
Event Responsibilities:

- **Physical Presence**: Be the go-to on-the-ground person for all events, liaising with the Culture & Events Coordinator to ensure smooth execution.
- **Coordination**: Work closely with the Culture & Events Coordinator to align the bar operations with each event's theme and objectives.
- **Guest Relations**: Cultivate a warm, inviting atmosphere and resolve any guest-related issues swiftly and professionally.
- **Room Setup and Teardown**:Oversee the physical arrangement of event spaces, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and alignment with the event’s theme.

Bar Responsibilities:

- **Oversee Day-to-Day Bar Operations**: Handle ordering, inventory, and quality control of all bar supplies and beverages.
- **Mixology**: Serve cocktails and other beverages in accordance with club standards and guest preferences.
- **Cocktail Menu Creation**: Leverage your mixology expertise to design and update our seasonal cocktail menus.
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise and train bar staff to ensure a high level of service. Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment that emphasizes excellence in customer service and operational effectiveness.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.

Cross-Functional Duties:

- **Budget Management**:Develop and manage budgets for both events and the bar, including forecasts and financial reporting.
- **Club Maintenance & Upkeep**: Regularly inspect the bar and event spaces for any wear and tear or maintenance needs. Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely repair.
- **Marketing and Promotions**:Work closely with the Communications team to create attractive event and bar promotions.
- **Customer Experience**:Solicit and analyze feedback from clients and guests to continuously improve the event and bar experience.
- **Resource Allocation**:
Strategically allocate staff and resources between the events and bar operations as needed.

- Permanent, full-time, hours of work will vary and will include evenings and some weekends.
