Communications Specialist - Retail

As a communications specialist, you will source and create content for our internal team. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to write and share stories.
We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes.
Join our diverse_ _team as a communications specialist
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with people across the business (corporate, distribution centres, and stores) to write and share stories.
- Partner with colleagues on the communications team and across the business to create and execute meaningful communications plans for campaigns, events and initiatives.
- Manage and maintain content on the intranet portal and other communication platforms
- Lead and manage the daily process and flow of communication to store operations, acting as a gatekeeper and advisor as needed
- Partner with the Retail Operations team to ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging in all platforms
- Ensure store tools are maintained and reflect the current needs of the business
- Be keen to continuously learn more, improve your skillset, and take advantage of opportunities to advance your career
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of communications experience in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
- 4+ years of business/operations experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Retail experience is a huge asset. Experience of navigating a large organization with a significant number of frontline team members is a bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education.

Annualized base pay range
$73,000.00 - $75,500.00
Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
