**Position Summary**

In support of the Mission and Vision of SyBridge Technologies Inc., the **_Production Manager _**is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of Plant 1&2. Reporting to the **_General Manager_**, the **_Production Manager _**ensures first-time quality is a priority each and every time while adhering to health and safety requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day to day operations at plant 1; direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the machining factory area.
- Responsible for executing the production plans to meet customer quality and delivery expectations; achieved by establishing work schedules and employee assignments.
- Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment while meeting plant productivity goals.
- (Maintain safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations)
- Initiates and drives continuous improvement.
- Report daily key performance indicators (KPI) for various areas.
- Hold and participate in daily communication reviews on the floor with team.
- Confer with others to coordinate operations and activities within or between teams.
- Responsible for building an effective team within the production area.
- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules to determine production requirements to meet targets.

**As Required:
- Identify equipment maintenance requirements for supervisory area, ensure regular maintenance of machines to ensure maximum up time
- Maintain the equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions, initiating repair work orders, etc.
- Participate in required meetings and training, as requested.
- Assist in HR task when called upon
- Any additional tasks requested by Supervisor.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 10+ years of machining experience.
- CNC Machining experience is a must.
- Sound knowledge machine shop equipment working, functions, safety set up and programming background.
- Computer skills-Visual, Excel, Word, Outlook, Lemoine and Mastercam
- Previous leadership experience required.
- Must be able to work independently, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and organize plant workload.
- Prefer LEAN implementation experience including Kaizen events and visual factory initiatives.
- Plastic processing experience is an asset.
- Ability to perform under pressure and work independently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required.
- Ability to ensure quality standards are met;
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficient in time management and communication skills
