**Position Responsibilities, includes but not limited to**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders and the team to develop the conceptual design for custom solutions for special projects and product development projects.
- Collaborate with the international key accounts team and marketing in supporting them if needed with visualizations of our products.
- Support the Velaria Systems sales team with product selection based on customer and/or project requirements.
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with internal teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics) to ensure fulfillment and deliveries are completed on time.
- Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure customer’s project requirements and the technical solution are aligned. Clearly communicate risks and status updates.
- Provide creative support to our Velaria Sales team based on product and design knowledge.
- Support in building protos and mockups to test concepts and gather stakeholder feedback.
- Create, maintain, and control technical documentations for engineering and manufacturing, such as ECO, ECR, quality and manufacturing procedures, revision control.
- Interface with customers/stakeholders in the design and construction community, including travel to job sites as needed.
- VP of Products & Design will provide guidance and coaching with conceptual designs and professional growth.
- Lead Design and Application Specialist will provide guidance and coaching on day to day responsibilities and technical skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Position Requirements**:

- Technology certificate in architectural or Civil Engineering, or technical equivalent
- 1 or more years in a design and/or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of BIM components and methodology.
- Lighting and lighting components or related industries would be an asset.
- Proficient in Revit or equivalent.
- Interest in architectural and interior design is an asset.
- Experience in architectural visualizations (renders) is an asset.
- Experience using Arena or other PLM platforms would be an asset.
- Experience working in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements and high expectations.
- Interest in project management skills with focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude as well as excellent communication, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Possess strong technical skills, the ability to think out of the box and solution orientated thinking.
- Display good judgment, maintain positive employee and customer relations, and create an exciting work environment.
- Possesses independent judgment to make sound, justifiable decisions and take action in solving problems.
- The job could require occasional travel.

**Salary**: From $65,000.00 per year
