FanDuel Group is looking to add a Compliance Associate to its Gaming Investigations Unit ("GIU"), with experience in compliance and/or related operations to review and disposition alerts related to sanctions, politically exposed persons ("PEPs"), and Anti-Money Laundering ("AML").

The Compliance Associate will efficiently perform alert reviews generated by customer screening and monitoring systems and document findings in accordance with all recordkeeping and confidentiality requirements. This individual will perform enhanced due diligence and investigations of customer activity, including wagering and game play, and will escalate potential findings to their manager.

This role will report into a Compliance Manager and sits within the FanDuel Group Legal and Compliance Team. Successful licensing with state gaming regulators will be required following employment.

**THE GAME PLAN**:

- Perform anti-money laundering, sanctions, PEP and negative news alert review processes in accordance with Team
- Document and report findings and prepare case files for review, as necessary (e.g. results from internal system searches, media search results, etc.)
- Perform due diligence on customers whose accounts are identified through transaction monitoring or who engage in certain behaviors on FanDuel Group platforms.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring reviews of customers which include PEP and Sanctions screening.
- Work with teams including Fraud, Payments, RG, Risk & Trading and VIP to perform Enhanced Due Diligence.
- Draft and file Suspicious Transaction Reports ("STRs") utilizing F2R system.
- Ensure all customers are appropriately risk rated per regulatory requirements.
- Work to identify process improvements and help to implement changes to further develop AML program, prepare job aides.

- 2+ years working in the compliance function of a highly regulated financial institution or a proven track record of performance in online gaming customer service preferred.
- Experience with payment processors and general understanding of deposits/withdrawals are processed.
- Basic knowledge of Transaction Monitoring and working within an operations based tool for review and execution on a day to day basis.
- Experience understanding and breaking down Geolocation data to understanding suspicious activity.
- Demonstrated aptitude for process execution.
- Passion to work hard in a fast-paced, start-up environment
