Reporting to the Superintendent, the Solar Installer is a 1-3 year Electrician Apprentice, who will provide hands on assistance in supporting solar systems installations on commercial and residential properties.

**Additional responsibilities include**:

- Learning the overall installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar panel systems in a safe, clean and professional manner
- Become competent with installing solar modules, inverters, other electrical equipment and solar instruments
- Ability to read project package which includes single line drawings designed specifically for each project
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and solar systems as required
- Collaborate with Installers, Crew Leads and Project Manager to ensure successful completion of projects
- Provide exceptional customer service onsite to customers
- Assist in providing documented and detailed project reports to Project Manager
- Commitment to Company safety policies and processes and a demonstrated track record of working safely

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in an accredited electrical apprenticeship program with 1-3 years experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Maintain good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work at heights and on sloped roofs
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues
- Valid driver’s license

Pay: $23.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
