ServiceMaster Restore of Edmonton requires a Junior Project Manager with experience in managing construction/restoration/renovation projects.

Working Conditions:
A ServiceMaster Junior Project Manager will spend the majority of their time attending job sites across Alberta primarily within Edmonton and surrounding areas. Junior Project Managers will be required to enter premises’ that have been affected by sewage, fire, floods, mold and asbestos. The remaining time will be spent at the ServiceMaster Restore office.

Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 overtime as required, weekly on call rotation between all ServiceMaster Project Managers

Overview:
A Jr. Project Manager is responsible for effectively managing all insurance claims assigned this includes efficiency planning, organizing and directing the emergency and rebuild processes to each claim. The Jr Project Managers strives to achieve company objectives through effective communication with home owners and insurance companies (adjusters/brokers) while maintaining a balance between cost, time, quality and safety.

Job Duties:

- Administrative support for assigned Project Manager
- Coordinate assigned projects as assigned by PM or Projects Director
- On-site estimation for residential and commercial mitigation and reconstruction.
- Coordinate clean-up crews and equipment with Dispatch.
- Meet with insurance adjusters and clients.
- Document claims, scopes of work and services provided.
- Manage contracts.
- Successful market ServiceMaster Restore of Edmonton.
- Manages multiple claims/jobs
- Attend the job site to view damages, meet with adjusters and clients to discuss details of loss
- Scheduling, cost determination and quality assurance of all insurance and non-insurance claims
- Completing all claims to ensure standard is kept in tack
- Schedules and manages performance of all trades and sub trades
- Coordinates and schedules trade and supply logistics between multiple sites.
- Monitors project milestones to ensure projects are on track.
- Directly recruits trades and personnel based on predetermined parameters.
- Seeks a balance between time, cost and quality constraints.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year previous project management experience.
- Knowledge of construction process, building code, and safety code will be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, presentation and listening.
- Strong decision making, problem solving and analytical Skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines, resources and multiple projects.
- Flexible and adaptable to rapid change.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Internet Explorer.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in composing and proofing written materials
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
- A basic understanding of accounting and budgeting principles is required
- Must be professional, organized, and efficient
