**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**

Maxxit is seeking a full time Laser Cutting Machine Opertaor for the afternoon shift. The hourly wage will be up to $25.00 based on experience.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Operate laser cutting machines (Prima, Bodor) to cut and fabricate metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine correct dimensions and tolerances.
- Set up and adjust laser cutting machines for optimal performance.
- Monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality of the finished product.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Able to read and interpret nest plans and part drawings.
- Previous experience operating laser cutting machines is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Basic cutting, forming, and welding skills are an asset.
- Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with the laser cutting machine.
- Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
- Demonstrated safe work habits, commitment to quality, and attention to detail.
